Position Highlights:Jointly between the University of Arizona and its clinical partner Banner Health, these activities are part of a national initiative which will contribute significantly to the development of a research cohort that will engage a million or more Americans who volunteer their health data over many years to improve health outcomes, fuel the development of new treatments for disease, and catalyze a new era of data-based and more precise preventive care and medical treatment.
The selected individuals will be responsible for clinical research operations including recruitment, informed consent, collection of patient reported data, bio-specimen collection, compliance with study procedures, data collection and documentation, and work closely with the study team and clinical partners. This position will work closely with national efforts to support retention of cohort participants. University of Arizona Health Sciences seeks candidates who will demonstrate competence in clinical research.

Please visit the following link: https://allofusaz.org/locations, for a complete list of locations. **Duties & Responsibilities:- Maintain awareness of status of all active studies. Collaborate with investigator(s) and coworkers to ensure proper progress and completion of clinical studies.
- Conduct pre-consent screening to determine eligibility.
- Execute the informed consent process according to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and UA procedures and other applicable rules, regulations and policies.
- Ensure participant and study compliance, i.e. collection of study specimens, and study visits.
- Collect and process samples in accordance with the protocol, manual of operations, standard operating procedures (SOP) or other work instruction set.
- Ensure specimens are properly logged, handled and stored.
- High School Diploma and 5 years of relevant experience Or; Associate Degree n a field appropriate to the area of assignment and 3 years of relevant experience Or; Bachelor Degree in n a field appropriate to the area of assignment and 1 year relevant experience Or; Masters Degree n a field appropriate to the area of assignment.
- Comfortable building rapport with strangers.

Our Main and Health Sciences campuses are located near downtown Tucson. In addition, we operate a College of Applied Science & Technology in southeastern Arizona, a Biomedical Campus in Phoenix, a Veterinary College north of Tucson, and extension offices in every Arizona county.
