    Kampus Kampers is Pine Tree Camps' sleepover camp for children ages 6 to 13. With a camper-to-counselor ratio of 5-1, Kampus Kampers stay on Lynn University's campus Monday through Friday, receive breakfast, lunch and dinner, and take part in both daytime camp programming and evening activities. From campfires and pool parties, Kampus Kampers develop a strong sense of personal achievement while they taste independence in our safe environment.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

      To be the health manager for camp; supervise health and cleanliness standards; work with the Director of Camps and staff; and help provide adequate physical health conditions for allEnsure each staff member and camper has on file a health history and examination form as required, review health formsMaintain camper health recordsInform staff of unique camper health concernsTreat minor ailmentsRefer severe cases to the care of a physicianRecord all individual treatments administeredEnsure the infirmary is maintained in clean conditionOriginate, update and/or monitor health care, maintain records and implement the health care planConfirm the first aid kits are well supplied and prepare them for off-campus trips as needed

    Minimum Qualifications

      Licensed in the state of Florida as a registered nurse Experience working with childrenCurrent adult and pediatric CPR and first aid certificationsMust be available for all 6 weeks of camp plus a week of camp training before camp begins 6/14 7/31Monday Friday, both day and overnight positions available
