The University of Tennessee Foundation is seeking a creative professional to join the Advancement team for the University of Tennessee Knoxville campus. The Director of Creative Communications will be responsible for leading the development of the team’s visual identity and brand standards, as well as sets direction for visual and creative strategy in order to accomplish Advancement goals. Reporting to the Executive Director of Communications, Stewardship, and Donor Relations, this position will create or oversee production of visual storytelling projects or campaigns related to development solicitations, stewardship, annual giving, special events, alumni programs, and digital communications. Their efforts work toward the goal of increasing philanthropic support, enhancing donor stewardship, and better engage alumni and current students.

The Foundation is an interdependent nonprofit corporation that enriches the lives of the students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the University of Tennessee through alumni engagement, financial stewardship and private investments.

Qualifications
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience of graphic design and project management in a deadline-driven environment, and supervisory experience with managing and enforcing brand strategy and guidelines. At least 5 years of content development, writing, and visual communications experience, and 2 years of direct supervision experience of staff. Three years of donor-centered communications experience and photography and/or art direction is preferred. The ideal candidate will be highly supportive of and committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
