Job description

General Summary

The Fraternity & Sorority Life Graduate Assistant supports the Coordinator for Student Organizations and Fraternity & Sorority Life in planning and implementing student activities programs and leadership development programs for fraternity and sorority chapters and their members. The Graduate Assistant also supports the development of all FSL educational programming through individual advising, tracking and maintaining organization data and records, offering training and resource materials, managing marketing strategies and materials, attending pertinent meetings, etc.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

In consultation with one or more staff or faculty members, assist in the support of the affairs of a program, department, office and/or curriculum.

Other departmental related duties as required.


Ability to work up to 20 hours per week (10 for 50%) is required.

GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.

Admission and enrollment in a graduate program is required.

Maintenance of a 67% course completion is required.

Enrollment in at least 6 credits for Fall and Winter semesters is required.
