Description:

The University of Florida seeks to fill an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor position in the Division of Nephrology, Hypertension, and Renal Transplantation. The position will involve both clinical and research activities and can be a tenure or non-tenure track (dependent on the applicant). The applicant will be expected to cover clinical service, teach fellows and if tenure track to develop a strong research program. For the clinical education side the applicant must have a strong interest in renal transplant and teaching. An active role with medical students, residents, and fellow education is anticipated. Start-up packages are available.

The clinical duties will include providing Renal Transplant care in the Outpatient and Inpatient setting. This position will cover inpatient service at UF Health in Gainesville, FL. Outpatient will include Gainesville, and Orlando.

If on the tenure track, research responsibilities include applying for funding, and carrying out and publishing research. Rank and Tenure status will be commensurate with qualifications.

Salary is negotiable, commensurate with education and experience.


Qualifications:

Applicants must have a MD degree and be BC/BE in Nephrology.
