Assistant/ Associate/ Full Professor In-Residence


The Department of Medicine at the University of California, Irvine, anticipates an opening for an in Residence physician in the Division of Nephrology, Hypertension, and Kidney Transplantation. This opening will be at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level depending on experience.

Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications. Applicants must have demonstrated capabilities for teaching and professional service. Clinician scientists (basic, translational, outcome/epidemiology) are encouraged to apply.

    Candidates must be board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine/Nephrology and be capable of working as a licensed physician. Incumbent will be expected to attend the following clinical services: inpatient consults with supervision of fellows-in-training, outpatient dialysis, and ambulatory clinics, among others. Unique areas of expertise, including in glomerulonephritis, kidney stones, hypertension, home dialysis, interventional nephrology, critical care nephrology, combined medicine/pediatrics, and other relevant areas would be appreciated and may be preferred.
