Postdoctoral Scholar Series - Sajjadi Laboratory
The Department of Neurology at the University of California, Irvine, invites applications for a postdoctoral scholar position in the laboratory of Dr. S. Ahmad Sajjadi MD, PhD to work on various neuroimaging projects focusing on early diagnosis of neurodegenerative syndromes. The appointment is for 1 year with the possibility of extension upon satisfactory performance. We are seeking a highly motivated investigator with previous training and experience in acquisition and analysis of neuroimaging data with particular emphasis on structural MRI and PET.

The candidate should be extremely efficient in working within a multidisciplinary team and have strong organizational and communication skills. The successful applicant will become a member of a vibrant team working on discovery of imaging biomarkers for degenerative brain diseases with particular emphasis on hippocampal sclerosis and TDP-43 pathologies. The position requires an individual who is an effective team player, highly organized, and innovative.

Requirements:
Candidates must possess an advanced Degree (MD or PhD) by or prior to appointment start date.

Additional Information:
Applicants who have a willingness to get involved with IRB communications, prior publication (first author), and strong written and verbal communication skills are preferred.
