Project Scientist Series



The Department of Medicine at the University of California, Irvine anticipates openings in the Project Scientist Series in various divisions.

The divisions are:
Immunology
Infectious Diseases
Cardiology
Nephrology and Hypertension
Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism
Occupational and Environmental Medicine
Gastroenterology
Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
General Internal Medicine and Primary Care
Rheumatology
Hematology/Oncology

Candidates should have an M.D., Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree(s) and extensive training in one or more of the above disciplines. Candidates must have research and laboratory experience as well as a record of publications. Research independence and ability to write and fund independent research projects desirable. Salary and rank based on background and experience.
