Associate/Full Professor (Senate) - Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing

The Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing is seeking applicants for a tenured Associate or Full Professor position. Candidates eligible for this position will have demonstrated strong programs of research and teaching. Candidates applying for this senate faculty position are expected to be licensed RN's with a doctorate in nursing or allied fields. Strong preference will be given to candidates who have an exemplary track record of federal funding as principal investigator. Candidates must be able to mentor students at all levels (BS, MS, PhD). Successful candidates will be responsible for teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels and will help prepare students for a career in the health field. Candidates must also show evidence of collaborative interdisciplinary partnerships that will advance the science in health outcomes of individuals, families and communities, and in teaching the next generation of nurses, educators, researchers, and innovators.

The Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing at UC Irvine is the newest nursing school in the prestigious University of California system. Designated as a School in 2017, it is ranked as one of the top 50 in research funding and has received over $13 million to research areas such as oncology, HIV/AIDS, pediatrics, self-care, mental health, women's health, clinical policy, and nursing education.
The School of Nursing offers baccalaureate, masters, and doctoral degrees in Nursing Science and is home to more than 200 students.
