Job Description:

This position will assist Dr. Beuzelin, entomology staff, and entomology graduate students in conducting research at the UF/IFAS Everglades REC on insect pest management for sweet corn, sugarcane, rice, sorghum, and lettuce grown in the Everglades Agricultural Area. More specifically, the position will assist in conducting areawide corn silk fly field surveys, managing field plots, conducting field experiments, and entering data.

JOB LOCATION: BELLE GLADE, FL

Expected Salary:

$13.00 hourly

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to work well individually and in a team environment.

Ability to work under extreme weather conditions
