Position Summary:

The Regional Facilities Associate Manager is based at our Anaheim Campus. The Facilities Associate Manager is often the first point of contact individuals have with the institution, and as such is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.The Facilities Associate Manager is responsible for the below principle duties at our Anaheim Campus while providing additional support for our San Diego Campus.

Principle Duties:

  • Communicate and enforce campus rules and regulations to employees, students and guests.

  • Implement emergency response plan when required.

  • Assist students, faculty, staff and guests with directions, disbursing/accepting forms, and general information inquiries.

  • Manage on campus events and meetings, including larger meetings/events in San Diego (setup, teardown, service during events).

  • Accept deliveries of mail, courier documents/packages and deliver and/or store as required.

  • Maintain kitchens, mail room, office supply cabinets, copiers, and common areas as well as keeping inventory of all essential campus supplies and order requests.

  • Maintain and regularly update faculty and staff mailboxes and directories for both campuses.

  • Create ID cards for faculty, staff, and students and update the information in our database.

  • Collaborate with other administrative and academic departments on various projects requiring a high level of attention to detail and meeting strict deadlines, including classroom assignments.

  • Assist with routine classroom setups, takedowns and the general rearrangement of furniture within rooms and common areas.

  • Assist with basic facility/classroom repair and maintenance.

  • Perform routine inspections of the campus and report/follow up on any operational or maintenance issues.

  • Provide needed facilities serves to the campuses when activities are scheduled, including weeknights and weekends.

  • This regional position requires travel between Anaheim and San Diego on a regular basis.Adequate transportation with ability to transport items between campuses is necessary.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Campus Dean.

Position Qualifications:

  • High school diploma desired, BA preferred

  • Prior facilities experience preferred

  • Exceptional verbal communication and writing skills are necessary

  • Ability to prioritize, organize and meet deadlines with attention to detail

  • Computer skills including Word, Excel and database management programs

  • Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as needed

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds
