Our clients include nonprofit organizations, school districts, institutions of higher education, and other community organizations. - Leading one of more small-mid size evaluation projects Leading significant portions of projects independentlyAssuming great responsibility within projects, including: leading data collection and instrument development effortsWorking closely with all Senior Evaluators and Senior Evaluation Specialists
- Providing evaluation support activities including collecting data (via interviews, surveys, site visits, etc.), conducting on-line literature searches, entering data, and setting up codebooksConducting qualitative and quantitative analyses independentlyCoordinating data collection schedules and project activity logisticsOrganizing and maintaining project materials and informationApplying various methods of quantitative and qualitative analysis Working closely with clients to collect data, design instruments, report findingsWriting a wide variety of reports (technical, visual, infographic, etc.) Completing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Master’s degree in a related field
- 2 years of experience conducting program evaluation with demonstrated increases in responsibility
- Experience in qualitative and/or quantitative evaluation methodologies and analyses
- Experience writing professional reports and other tailored evaluation deliverables
- Knowledge/ experience with academic/ research institutions and/or non-profit organizations
- Self-motivated and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously without direct supervision
- Strong background knowledge of program evaluation (particularly utilization-focused, systems-level and participatory approaches)
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills; ability to tailor written, visual and verbal presentations to different audiences as appropriate
- Ability to work within timelines and respond effectively to deadlines
- High comfort level with technology (ability to become readily adept with technological systems and various technological solutions) e.g., Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, SPSS, NVivo
- Ability to conduct structured interviews and site visits with fidelity
- Ability to assimilate large amounts of information and distill themes, patterns and nuances
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to be a competent, contributing member of a dynamic team
