Additionally, the Creative Program Manager will develop a strategy and manage the implementation to successfully drive communication and marketing efforts with core stakeholders including faith communities, religious institutions, partners, alumni, peer schools, School of Divinity and Wake Forest University faculty, staff and students, media, and Divinity School Board of Visitors in collaboration with appropriate personnel and offices. - Conducts independent and collaborative research to develop and evaluate creative programming that addresses HIV stigma in faith communities, promotes positive faith leader perspectives about addressing HIV stigma in faith communities, and informs the implementation of transformative programming across faith communities
- Qualitative data collection and analysis
- Peer-reviewed manuscript writing
- Developing, managing, and evaluating creative programming for regional and national audiences
- Manages communication strategies, plans, and execution efforts to facilitate exceptional understanding of the School of Divinity and Gilead COMPASS Initiative® Faith Coordinating Center brand, key objectives, and achievements that foster increased interaction and advocacy by core stakeholders.
- Strategic planning to develop and implement effective communication and marketing aligned with our educational framework.
- Coordinates efforts with the program leadership and with the School of Divinity’s Director of Marketing, Communications, and Public Relations.
- Bolster access to the Center’s resources and assist partners in efforts to effectively execute and expand their efforts.
- Develops, implements, and coordinates a systematic approach to managing program initiatives, establishes realistic timetables to keep projects on schedule, and monitors the progress of projects to ensure deadlines are met, reports are properly prepared, and follow-up is completed.
- Collaborative partner with grantees in developing and implementing effective communication strategies for meeting program targets. Engages directly with partners as needed to meet goals.
- Coordinates the production of promotional collateral for the Center and grantees, including graphic design and digital content
- Provides additional support to grantees through coaching and introduction of tools for increased sustainability in the work of marketing and communicating programs.
- Manages marketing and communication expenses to adhere to the marketing budget of the grant.
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree plus three to five years of social science, communications, or divinity experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be comfortable in a work environment that supports and seeks change, creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement in methods and processes.
- Ability to develop communications plans and prioritize workload to maximize efficiency and effectiveness to achieve goals and objectives.
- Ability to analyze and consider the implications of proposed actions and decisions on the whole of the organization.
- Ability to design and implement independent research using qualitative methods
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- The ability to develop knowledge of, respect for, and skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds is required.
- Commitment to customer service and the ability to maintain confidentiality essential.
- Required computer competencies, with a working knowledge of various software packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, internet applications / social media networks, Adobe Creative Suite, and Canvas.
- Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Ability to take direction, work independently, and work with others as part of a team.
- Ability to work in the evenings and on weekends at peak times.
- Ability to travel occasionally.
- Should be able to meet the requirements of the University's automobile insurance.

Knowledge of faith communities; including interfaith partners.
