Position Highlights:Plans, develops, coordinates, and implements community-oriented programs focused on meeting community needs and improving life skills for targeted public segments. Delivers content, programs, materials and technology solutions, as needed, to support program objectives.
The Community Outreach Assistant II will provide education, and will promote and evaluate programs pertaining to financial literacy and parenting.

Duties & Responsibilities:- Provide support to community outreach program and service providers.
Prepare and present subject matter in one or more areas. Present effectiveness of teaching methods and work activities. Organize, promote, and coordinate programs throughout county. Prepare presentations regarding program implementation and success stories. Answer inquiries and provide information regarding relating to forms, meetings, materials, and evaluations.
- Monitor, log and track, and record constituent cases.
Evaluate lesson delivery for effectiveness and knowledge gained pertaining to learning concepts; revise and re-deliver when necessary. Maintain files following University of Arizona requirements and HIPPA Guidelines. Complete Affirmative Action reporting weekly. Maintain accurate, shared calendar of activities and events. Develop and record evaluation of lessons delivered.
- Assists with establishing contact with appropriate community resources.
Work with and assist staff and/or volunteers as needed. Seek opportunities to make connections and develop collaborative working relationships with partners and services throughout county. Assist in edits and layout for promotional and informational materials including brochures, flyers, and other materials. Engage with local media, submitting educational articles to encourage financial literacy and parenting.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience required.
