JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Biomechanical Test Engineer in our friendly and productive research group. The position involves updating the software (Labview) and hardware for a custom mechanical testing device, which is consist of stepper motors, force transducers, camera for image analysis, and DAQ boards. Further, the job involves performing mechanical testing on soft tissues using the device; you will be trained for this part.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Required skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, or Robotics Engineering or Computer Science
  • Experience in programming, preferably LabVIEW
  • Experience with motor control or mechatronics
  • Excellent communication, analytical reasoning, decision making, and problem-solving skills
