Position Description:

The Program Manager reports to the Associate Dean of the MBA Program. This position will oversee and manage all administrative matters for the Associate Dean, including but not limited to: calendar, email, travel, schedule and meetings.

The Program Manager will be expected to use delegate authority to handle information requests and correspondence, analyze incoming information for significance, reroute requests as needed, determine needed outcomes and work on matters to resolution. This person will also manage the Associate Dean’s budget and expenditures and also assist the MBA Executive and Managing Directors and their various strategic business units with their budgeting needs upon request.

The Program Manager is also responsible for leading the logistics and events (virtual and in-person) for the MBA Organization and providing confidential and critical administrative support for the members of the MBA Leadership team: Associate Dean, MBA Programs; Executive Director of Career & Leadership; Managing Director of Program Leadership & Student Engagement and Admissions & Student Recruiting; Managing Director of Academics & Operations; and Director of Finance and Analytics. Given the level of activities and responsibilities, this person will be required to have a high level of confidentiality, sensitivity and discretion.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalency and three years of progressively responsible administrative/office management experience; or Associate’s degree in secretarial science, business administration, or a related discipline and one year of progressively responsible administrative/office management experience ; or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration or a related discipline; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

-Essential Skills: Strong command of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, and Word) and Zoom (and/or other virtual live stream software).
-Excellent oral and written communication skills.
-Strong organizational skills and the ability to simultaneously manage multiple relationships, projects and conversations.
-Outstanding attention to detail.
-Ability to work in a team environment and work independently.
-Proven experience developing and managing a budget.
-Proven experience leading the planning and execution of large events.
-Demonstrated ability to develop new techniques, approaches, and methods and to create innovative solutions.
-Comfort with technology and social media.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge Program Understanding and awareness of program services, policies, procedures, laws, rules, and regulations. Ability to demonstrate and apply this knowledge in performance of administrative support tasks. Ability to explain and interpret program information to clients/customers and staff.
