Graduate Assistant (Staff), Academic Advisor - Francine Parker Advising Center
The role of the Francine Parker Advising Center Graduate Assistant (GA) is to assist academic advisors on individual and group advising initiatives. The GA must be able to work a minimum of twenty (20) daytime hours, Monday-Friday. Although the GA’s assignments will largely be determined by the needs of the office at the given time,every effort will be made to match GA’s interest, skills, experience and abilities with the appropriate and desired tasks.Principal Duties and Responsibilities
In consultation with one or more staff or faculty members, assist in the support of the affairs of a program, department, office and/or curriculum.
Other departmental related duties as required.
Ability to work up to 20 hours per week (10 for 50%) is required.
GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
Admission and enrollment in a graduate program is required.
Maintenance of a 67% course completion is required.
Enrollment in at least 6 credits for Fall and Winter semesters is required.
