Position Time Status :Part-Time
Required Education:BA in health related field; exercise science/fitness background; personal training or fitness certification desirable.
Required Related Experience:Development of exercise prescriptions.
Physical Requirements:Bending, squatting, stooping, walking, lift up to 25 pounds as required to provide exercise consultation to clients.
Shift:15 hours per week. Work shift varies as needed.
Job Summary:Provide personal, individual exercise consultations to assist UK faculty, staff, retirees and their spouses with their exercise and fitness goals. Help create a fitness path specifically for the individual even if special considerations are needed. Answer questions, provide guidelines, and help individuals get started on their personalized path to fitness.
