Physical Requirements:This position requires intermittently sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time and performing tasks with repetitive motions; and occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds; and lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Also involves some exposure to risk of injury from using job-related equipment; and exposure to hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, cuts/punctures, and blood-borne or airborne pathogens.
Shift:2nd shift IV room (2:00 pm – 12:00 am) 7days on/7days off
Job Summary:The Pharmacy Senior Technician assists pharmacists in providing medications to patients in an inpatient hospital setting by compounding complex sterile and non-sterile products and participating in the delivery of comprehensive pharmaceutical care. Areas of service include Chandler Inpatient, GS Inpatient, OR Satellite, Pediatric Satellite and Oncology Satellites.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:This position requires dependability and the ability to prioritize; the successful candidate must be reliable and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.

Preferred Education/Experience:Hospital pharmacy technician experience preferred.
