Physical Requirements:This position requires intermittently sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time and performing tasks with repetitive motions; and occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds; and lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Also involves some exposure to risk of injury from using job-related equipment; and exposure to hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, cuts/punctures, and blood-borne or airborne pathogens.
Shift:2:00 pm – 12:00 am; 7 days on/7 days off. Includes some holiday requirements.
Job Summary:This position will serve as shift lead for compounding and distribution services in central pharmacy. Conducts medium-risk sterile compounding in regard to USP 797 and board of pharmacy guidelines, inventory control and labeling. Trains new sterile compounding technicians enterprise-wide, performs sterility testing and participates in sterile compounding project development.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:This position requires dependability and the ability to prioritize. The successful candidate must be reliable and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.

Preferred Education/Experience:Associate or bachelor’s degree and hospital and/or retail pharmacy technician experience preferred.
