This position requires intermittently sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time and performing tasks with repetitive motions; and occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds; and lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Also involves some exposure to risk of injury from using job-related equipment; and exposure to hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, cuts/punctures, and blood-borne or airborne pathogens.

2:00 pm – 12:00 am; 7 days on/7 days off. Includes some holiday requirements.

This position will serve as shift lead for compounding and distribution services in central pharmacy. Conducts medium-risk sterile compounding in regard to USP 797 and board of pharmacy guidelines, inventory control and labeling. Trains new sterile compounding technicians enterprise-wide, performs sterility testing and participates in sterile compounding project development.

This position requires dependability and the ability to prioritize. The successful candidate must be reliable and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.

No

Associate or bachelor’s degree and hospital and/or retail pharmacy technician experience preferred.
