Reporting to the Facilities Management Medical Center Director, the Associate Director supports the Director’s efforts in providing administrative oversight of all maintenance, operations, engineering, design, construction, and facilities services applicable to the functional areas of the University’s HealthCare and Medical Center facilities and ensuring a safe environment for patients, faculty, staff, students, and visitors in compliance with The Joint Commission Standards.
In addition, this position participates in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and practices for the department and applies such to Safety & Health Compliance; Maintenance, Energy Management; Engineering, Design, and Project Management; Construction; Custodial and Trucking Services.
IEBC – Internal Employee Being ConsideredSkills / Knowledge / Abilities:
MS Windows/Office; Principles of Accounting; Business Procedures, Practices, and Policies; SAP; KRONOS.
Driver’s License – Preferred
Ability to implement strategic initiatives, foster an environment of customer orientation, build relationships, and manage teams in a Facilities Management – HealthCare environment.
Professional Engineer (PE) – Desirable
ASHE Certified Healthcare Manager – PreferredDoes this position have supervisory responsibilities? :
BS Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or
Business Administration – Preferred
