The College of Social Work (CoSW) is seeking a grants and research business officer to perform research administration, grants accounting, and human resource functions for the department. This business officer will work closely with the College Finance Director to facilitate administrative and business practices in accordance with sponsor guidelines, university standards, and best practices. This position will manage the day-to-day business office functions for all grant and research accounts within the College. The grants and research business officer will develop budgets for grant proposals, extensions, and continuations. This position will have supervisory responsibilities and provide guidance to CoSW staff and faculty regarding sponsor and university policies. The person in this position will be responsible for maintaining budgets, facilitating account activities, and reporting on financial activities for grant and research accounts. Qualified candidates will have an advanced understanding of financial grants management.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
Research administration, financial grants management, university policies and procedures, leadership, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? :
