The essential function of this position include the ability to lift or carry up to 25-50 pounds as needed, as well as stand for long periods of time. The condition of work may include exposure to communicable disease and injury from intractable patients or sharp instruments.Shift:
Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm some holidays or weekends maybe required.Job Summary:
The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Nurse Team Leader to manage and work as part of a clinic team as well as work independently.
The selected candidate will be assertive and provide optimal patient care in an ambulatory setting as well as feedback to clinic staff.
The selected candidate will have the ability to communicate in a professional manner with patients and their families, agencies, co-worker, direct reports, and providers, as well as the ability to prioritize and organize along with the ability to navigate the electronic computer system and other software.
This position is for our NICU Grad and Complex Care Divisions located within our Pediatric Specialty Clinic.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
Leadership, communication, Microsoft, electronic record-keeping, as well as supervision, clinic coordination, management skills. This includes self directed management and staff development.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? :
