Preferred Education/Experience:- Completion of Education courses, or Education degree.
- Proficiency in English / reading through middle school level.
- Foreign language.
10hrs/wk
Flexible hours.
You must be a current UK student to apply for this position. This position is located off-campus with a local Lexington business and is not affiliated with the university.
Tutoring Club is looking for tutoring candidates who are both knowledgeable and personable to work with K-12 students weekday afternoons/evenings and Saturday mornings. Work 2 – 5 days / week, 2 – 4 hours per day. Biggest needs are tutors who are proficient in high school level math and/or science, or have experience or training in education. Individuals must be dynamic communicators and work well with K-12 students.
- Proficient in middle school / high school level math / science.
- Proficient in basic teaching strategies.
