Track HR actions and maintain department roster. Act as point of contact for supervisors for hiring information and appointment information for employees. Will assist other HR representatives in time and leave, payroll functions, and HR reporting as necessary.

Will periodically serve as backup for departmental travel and purchasing representatives to prepare travel and purchasing transactions, ensure accurate submission of appropriate documentation, monitor activity, and keep accurate records. Will also periodically assist budget manager and other financial and accounting team members in departmental actions and other administrative duties.Qualifications High school diploma or equivalency and four years of experience related to the duties of this position.

(Note: or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to four years.)

Strong organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize
assigned tasks.

Computer skills to include experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook or comparable software.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally and in writing both effectively and
accurately.Preferred Experience with OMNI.Pay Plan This is an USPS (University Support Personnel System) position.Criminal Background Check This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.
