TC Hospitality Enclave (Temporary Employee Pool)

Primary Purpose:
Primary purpose under the direct supervision of the Employment Recovery Coach, off-site greeter for staff and visitors of San Joaquin County Behavioral Health Services.


Essential Functions:
1. Perform greeting and customer service tasks: this includes, but is not limited to:
• Greeting and welcoming staff and clients as they arrive to the SJCBHS campus.
• Directing them to the respected check-in and check-out areas.
• Providing guest services and interpersonal skills.
• Able to follow oral and written instruction.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills.

2. Collecting correct data and maintaining rotation log.

3. The ability to consistently maintain a clean, professional, and presentable appearance and demeanor.
4. Performing other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:
• Applicant must currently be receiving services from San Joaquin County Behavioral Health Services.
• Ability to pass background/sanction checks for the funding agency(ies).


Preferred Qualifications:
• Volunteer or paid experience in a helping profession desired.
• Positive attitude, proven ability to work successfully with diverse populations and demonstrated commitment to promote and enhance diversity and inclusion.

The position requires performing physical activities, including standing, bending, kneeling, stretching, and reaching while interacting with adults and significant others within the field and within the office. Lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Work Environment/Work Week/Travel:
Position is scheduled for 4-10 hours per week, during Gipson Center’s normal business hours of 8am-5pm, M-F.


Hiring Range: Commensurate with experience, non-exempt
