Summary of Duties:
The Performing Arts Program Coordinator is responsible for supervising student / temporary hourly workers, and administers the safe, efficient and professional operation of Kimbrough Concert Hall and Bryan Hall Theatre in support of Music Production for the School of Music. The position plans, recommends, organizes, coordinates, and implements a wide variety of stage technical and performing arts facilities support services for the School of Music. The position schedules School of Music events, coordinates the performing facilities calendar, trains employees, maintains equipment, promotes School of Music events, and provides sound reinforcement for performances in addition to other duties.
High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in the program specialty OR equivalent education/experience.
Two years of experience in theater construction techniques, stage lighting, and theater production. College and/or technical training in theater production and maintenance may substitute for required work experience.
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of products, especially Excel.
