Stanford University's Continuing Studies Program (CSP) is a premier adult learning program offering more than 600 courses, workshops, and seminars to more than 17,000 students annually. The mission of Stanford Continuing Studies is to share the rich educational resources of Stanford University with adult students living in the Bay Area and beyond.
Also within the Continuing Studies unit is the Stanford Distinguished Careers Institute (DCI) and the Stanford Master of Liberal Arts (MLA) programs. The Stanford Distinguished Careers Institute (DCI) brings 25-35 established leaders to Stanford for a year-long program of intellectual exploration, renewal, and preparation for the next phase of their lives. It provides an opportunity for highly accomplished individuals who are eager to transform themselves for roles with social impact at the local, national, and global levels. The Stanford's Master of Liberal Arts (MLA) program is a part-time graduate degree program for adults. Stanford University's MLA Program offers an extraordinary opportunity for students to pursue an interdisciplinary course of study in the liberal arts and to earn their master's degrees at one of the world's great centers of learning.
Stanford Continuing Studies is seeking a Business Manager to join the Continuing Studies' Dean's Office finance team. The Business Manager has broad responsibility for the financial functions of the Continuing Studies Program (CSP), as well as the two smaller programs housed within the unit, Distinguished Careers Institute (DCI), and the Master of Liberal Arts (MLA) Program. The position oversees each program's annual operating budgets, financial forecasting, and reporting, and manages the full range of day-to-day financial activities for the programs. This is an ideal job for an individual with outstanding communication and analytical skills who thrives within a collaborative environment.
