Description:Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) is seeking candidates for the position of faculty of the School of Nursing. Reporting to the Dean of Health Sciences, the faculty member will be responsible for working closely with the Dean of the School of Health Sciences and the nursing program Director in implementation of the conceptual-based curriculum. Faculty will be responsible for teaching across the curriculum; utilizing state-of-the art technology to enhance the student's learning experience. Faculty utilizes the program's conceptual framework of caring in teaching, service, leadership, and scholarship. Faculty serve as coaches in the learning experience both in the classroom and clinical areas and use intentional mentoring to engage students that fosters student success.

- Master's degree in Nursing required with PhD in nursing preferred.
- Excellent academic credentials in teaching, scholarship, and service
- Established record of program evaluation
- Recent clinical experience, including simulation
- Current Georgia nursing license in good standing with Georgia Board of Nursing
- Current BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers required
- A strong commitment to diversity and shared governance
- Experience working with clinical site partners, regulator and accreditation agencies
