    The Student & Employee Health Requirement Coordinator will coordinate and communicate information regarding immunization and health requirements for UT Health Science Campus (UTHSC) academic programs (students) and UT departments (staff, faculty, volunteers). The Student & Employee Student & Employee Health Requirement Coordinator is responsible for screening, reporting, monitoring and notification of immunization compliance using compliancy software. The Student & Employee Student & Employee Health Requirement Coordinator will provide oversight and assist with the Student and Employee Health Service teams by ensuring services are completed in accordance with the established guidelines of the CDC, ODH, OSHA, Joint Commission, UT and the UTHSC Colleges/Programs.

    Qualifications:

    1.       Associate‚Äôs degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Medical Assisting or, related field or equivalent experience required.

    2.       Experience in clinical settings, with academic experience preferred.

    3.       Knowledge of SQL and programming language.

    4.       Minimum of one course in Windows computer applications or six months experience working with Microsoft Office applications (Especially Word, Excel, and Access).

    5.       Two years experience using OHM (Occupational Health Manager) system preferred.

    6.       Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and follow through.

    7.       Knowledge of HIPAA and FERPA Guidelines.

    8.       Knowledge of immunizations and medical records required; extensive knowledge of UTMC health requirements for employees and students highly preferred.

    9.       Knowledge and/or ability to obtain Immunization Schedules approved by the CDC and state of Ohio.

    10.   Excellent time management, record keeping and report preparation techniques.

    11.   Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with students, faculty, staff and the public from diverse backgrounds.

    12.   Ability to meet deadlines in a busy environment.

    13.   Must be capable of attending meetings and conducting visits across campus, including evenings and weekends.
