To further this effort, the University of Toledo Health Science Campus MedicalCenter is requiring candidates for employment to be nicotine-free. Pre-employment health screening requirementswill include cotinine (nicotine) testing, as well as drug and other requiredhealth screenings for the position. The employment offer is conditional uponsuccessful completion of a cotinine test and Occupational Health clearance.
Position Description:Cleansand services patient, public, clinical, academic and administrative areas asdirected by management. Executes tasksand assignments in a thorough, professional manner to assure a clean,attractive, safe environment with minimal interference to others. This position will work in the academic environment.
Qualifications:MinimumEducation/Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to read, understand, and follow writteninstructions, and comprehend verbal instructions given in English.
MinimumWork Experience:
- Minimal related experience is desirable.
PhysicalEffort Required:
- Able to stand for longperiods, stoop, kneel and reach.
- Able touse a 16 or 24 ounce wet mop for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry and maneuver objectsweighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
