The Department of Psychiatry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine seeks to hire a fixed-term faculty member to expand the department and accommodate outpatient clinical needs in Chapel Hill and Raleigh, N.C., with the option to provide medication management as well as psychotherapeutic services. Additionally there would be opportunities to engage in other areas of growth in our outpatient practices, including with interventional psychiatric treatments.
We anticipate hiring a full-time general psychiatrist to work in our outpatient setting. Duties may also include teaching/supervising fellows, residents, medical students and other trainees from a variety of disciplines. Faculty rank will be commensurate with experience.

Applicants for general psychiatry positions must have an MD or DO and be BC/BE. Applicants must be eligible for North Carolina licensure.

The successful applicants will have strong clinical skills and experience working with a diverse population of patients.
