Essential Job Duties:Temporary Research Assistant is needed to assist in the development of the State Secure Pork Supply plan and database. This work will include farm mapping, stakeholder engagement and publishing of materials and data.
1) Coordinate the expansion of the RABApp (copyright deposit with the commercialization office) to Oklahoma and Texas, which will include coordinate with 8 pig producing companies
and 15 veterinarians, and also coordinate 5 SPS security plan approval process with the corresponding state veterinary offices.
2) Train new staff members in how to construct map views (using QGIS software) which as the requirements of the SPS plans (mode details here https://www.securepork.org/)
