Normal Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:45 pm
Job Summary: Under limited direction, this position recruits adult students for the University's New College Life Track Program (NCLT), counsels and provides guidance to prospective students about their expectations and the ability of the NCLT Program to meet individual academic goals, and represents the University, College of Continuing Studies, and the NCLT Program at national, state, and local conferences. The incumbent also represents these constituencies at a variety of public and private functions, provides extensive advising to students on course selection/load while waiting for admittance to the NCLT Program.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of work experience in marketing, academic advising, higher/post secondary education, student recruitment, admissions, or student services.
Preferred Qualifications: An understanding of the concepts, theories, and principles of interdisciplinary studies and/or distance learning is desired.
