Princeton University

The Princeton University Department of Chemistry seeks a full-time lecturer in chemistry, with experience in organic chemistry, to teach several courses during the 2021-22 academic year. The initial term of appointment will be for one academic year, with the possibility of renewal conditional on course enrollments, performance and the needs of the department. The successful applicant will teach lecture and laboratory chemistry courses at the introductory and advanced undergraduate levels. Lecturers are responsible for preparing and presenting lectures, writing and grading examinations, meeting with students outside of class time, monitoring teaching assistants, and assigning grades. Candidates are expected to have completed the Ph.D. in organic chemistry. Preferred qualifications include experience in teaching at the undergraduate level.
