Postdoctoral research associate or more senior research positions focusing on tissue biomechanics are available at Princeton University in the laboratory of Professor Daniel Cohen in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. The lab is building new bioelectric and biomaterials tools to control swarming behaviors in living tissues such as collective cell migration. Individuals must have a recent doctorate with an experimental background in any of the following areas: bioengineering/biophysics, cell/developmental biology, electrochemistry, electrical/materials engineering, and micro-fabrication. Candidates should be prepared to work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment. Appointment is for one year, with the possibility of renewal pending satisfactory performance and funding availability.
