Department
Sociology/CJ & Criminology

Job Purpose:
The Department of Sociology, Criminal Justice, and Criminology at the University of Scranton is now accepting applications for a full-time tenure track position of Assistant Professor.


Essential Duties:
Teach courses primarily in the Cybercrime and Homeland Security program, as well as courses in cybersecurity, terrorism, and criminal justice. Responsibilities include advising students, contributing to curriculum development and program assessment, maintaining a scholarly research program, and performing service to the department, university, and community.

Additional Skills Required:


Minimum Education Requirements:
Candidates must have a Doctorate in Criminal Justice or a related field, or ABD (all but dissertation). Doctoral studies must have included teaching in an academic setting including teaching and developing courses in cybercrime.
