This position will work in the child care area at Trail Point Aquatics and Wellness meeting the needs of children ages 3 months through 8 years and their families.

Develop positive relationships with children and their families.
Facilitate a positive, inclusive climate for all children.
Engage in rich interactions with children on their level.
Assist in planning and implementing activities for children.
Maintain a healthy and safe learning environment for children by following health and safety policies and procedures.
Maintain a safe, clean and well organized environment for children.
Follow good health and safety practices including; changing diapers, washing hands, cleaning play surfaces and toys, attending to runny noses and mouths, etc.
Promote child/family programs and activities to children and their families.
Greet each child and parent/guardian as they arrive and depart.
Maintain records of children participating in the program.
Notify appropriate staff of any unsafe conditions, needed repairs, complaints, accidents, or injuries immediately.
Responsible for injury/accident reporting procedures.
Show familiarity with emergency procedures.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.Required Qualifications:
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Must complete CPR/AED and First Aid Certification within 45 days of hire.Desired Qualifications:
Early Childhood Education coursework/degree
Experience in an early childhood settingWork Schedule:
