Requisition Number:28763Location: Boulder, Colorado Employment Type:Research FacultySchedule:Full-TimeDate Posted:17-Feb-2021 Close All Job SummaryThe Applied Physics Division at NIST encourages applications for multiple qualified Professional Research Assistants in support of our existing efforts in superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors (SNSPDs) and transition edges sensors (TESs). One project involves crafting large arrays of infrared-sensitive SNSPDs for hyperspectral imaging to support machine vision applications in light-starved environments. Other projects are focused on quantum information applications and involve integrating SNSPDs with ion traps and optimizing the speed of photon number-resolving TESs.
