The Department of English at Regis University seeks qualified candidates for a tenure-track position beginning in the 2020-2021 academic year, with a starting date of August 1, 2021. The teaching load is 3/4. Candidates must have the ability to teach composition, beginning and advanced creative writing, early American literature, and core literature classes with a demonstrated record of teaching excellence. Secondary specializations include film studies, women and gender studies, and literary publishing. While Regis values research (and a record of sustained scholarship is required for tenure), a commitment to inclusive teaching is essential; the candidate must demonstrate the skills to work effectively with racially, socioeconomically, and religiously diverse student populations.

Minimum Qualifications

Ph.D. in English, creative writing, or a related field at the time appointment begins; record of successful teaching; strong potential as a colleague in the work of English Studies.
