Ability to maintain confidentiality Preferred Qualifications Experience in an academic environment. Experience with Exam Soft, Axium, and I-MS software programs. Experience in clinical department schedulingResponsibilities Scheduling: Point of contact for all department course/clinic scheduling, to include: scheduling grading sessions, assessments for students with accommodations and for testing at the Testing Center. Coordinates with designated department faculty for the creation and daily maintenance of the department schedule each semester primarily for predoctoral education, and also department advanced education programs, as assigned. Monitors the faculty coverage and communicate with faculty according to protocol to maintain the required faculty supervision. Communication: Attend all department and assigned course/program meetings. Work with the office manager and department chairman to enforce DCG and department academic standards. Work with the Director of Assessment and Compliance to ensure curriculum and/or policy changes are understood and followed by course directors. Provide feedback to the office manager, department chairman, and the Office of Advanced Education and Academic Affairs. Timely response (mail, phone,email) to department inquiries about department activities, courses including communication with other departments or campus entities to facilitate a smooth running academic, clinical, and business operation.Support Didactic, Simulation, and Clinical Courses: Maintains rapport with students, course directors, other departments, and DCG administration to facilitate course support at predoctoral and advanced education levels, as assigned. Demonstrates initiative to complete assigned department projects. Works with clinical staff to ensure proper course forms and documentation are available and used in clinics. Works with dispensary staff to ensure all materials are ordered and received. Achieves and demonstrates content expert training status with Examsoft, D2L, axiUm, and other department specific software. Runs axiUm reports for course directors/program directors, as assigned.Support Student/Resident Assessment: Create spreadsheets utilizing Excel, Banner and Pounce to facilitate activites, as needed. Assist course directors with curriculum Inventory reporting. Enter final course grade into Banner and/or assist course directors with entering grades. Create and process grade change forms, justification of Incomplete forms and SARC forms as required. Support course directors in providing the Dean of Advanced Education and Academic Affairs signed copies of all final grade related forms. Maintain signed copies of all final grade forms in the department files. Provide student course records to the course director, Office of Academic Affairs and Advanced Education, and/ or the SARC committee chair at any time, as required.Instructional Support: Work with the DCG IT Manager and DCG ISA to resolve Exam soft, Soft Test, Banner, Pounce, Outlook, D2L, Axium, and Cltrix issues that may affect department courses. Attend the IT related committee meetings when requested to stay aware of technology issues and solutions, disperse the information to faculty and staff. Meet with course directors prior to every semester to develop a course support timeline.
