The Institutional Review Board (IRB) is responsible for protecting the rights and welfare of human subjects. The Senior IRB Analyst will report to the Director of the Institutional Review Board. The Senior IRB Analyst will provide administrative and regulatory support to the IRB Chairs, IRB Board Members and research investigators. The Senior IRB Analyst will review submissions for regulatory and ethical compliance. The Senior IRB Analyst will also serve as an alternate member on the IRB and will be designated to conduct exempt and expedited reviews of submissions. The Senior IRB Analyst will conduct pre-reviews of full board studies and will assist the IRB members in completing these types of reviews.

Required Skills

B.A./B.S., strong knowledge of both DHHS and FDA human subjects regulations and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in human subjects research. Certified IRB Professional (CIP) preferred.
