Regularly requires sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time and repetitive motions. May occasionally require standing or walking with objects up to 25 lbs.; lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to and over 50 lbs.; exposure to loud noises and temperature extremes, cuts/punctures and risk of injury from equipment on the job; and contact with combative/violent people.Shift:
Primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; may require some holidays per departmental needs.Job Summary:
The Patient Services Coordinator is responsible for the scheduling of diagnostic radiology exams, including confirming all necessary data needed to properly identify patient billing information and perform the required billing in order to maintain compliance with institutional, state, and federal practices; also assists with the completion of pre-authorizations for some radiology exams.
This position requires working remotely and a home office set-up.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
