Job Summary:

The Patient Relations Assistant position acts as a first point of contact for patients within the Kentucky Neuroscience Institute in the KY Clinic.

Position duties include, but are not limited to: customer service, patient registration and patient check-in, appointment scheduling and patient check-out, and assisting in other areas as needed.

In addition, this position is responsible for anticipating patient needs, ensuring timely and appropriate follow up with patients, resolving patient complaints in a timely manner.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:

Excel, Word, customer service, basic computer skills, able to multi-task, patient scheduling, working with medical information systems.

Preferred Education/Experience:

Some college plus four or more years related experience with an electronic health record system preferred.
