The University of Kentucky Healthcare (UKHC) Enterprise Information Technology department is seeking a HealthCare Enterprise Data & Cloud Architect. The architect will serve a critical role in the development of the enterprise architecture practice at UKHC, and will leverage business architecture artifacts to guide development of data and cloud architecture. The architect’s designs will develop and align projects with architecture standards, delivery constraints, enterprise business services, and infrastructure standards. The role will require the creation and evolution of architecture road maps based on current architecture, future architecture, and the necessary transition architectures. The architect will serve as a subject matter expert for architectural frameworks, methods, design patterns, and tools.
While this position will focus on data and cloud architecture, it will also assist in business, application, and technology architecture development, leading to the primary deliverable – IT architecture that aligns with and supports the stated business strategy.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
