This position requires intermittently sitting at a computer workstation; performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing); standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 pounds; lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds; and occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Also involves some risk of back injury from moving, lifting or positioning patients, equipment, or materials; risk of injuries from use of equipment on the job; and exposure to blood-borne or airborne pathogens, hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, cuts/punctures, burns, and combative/violent people.Shift:
Must be available to work full-time during the hours of Monday thru Friday 7am-9pm and weekends 7am-6pm. Shifts to be discussed during interview. Position to work 40 hours per week. Hours and shifts subject to change based on the needs of the department.Job Summary:
UK HealthCare Retail Pharmacies are seeking a Pharmacist Float to assist in managing the pharmaceutical care workload. This position will compound and dispense medications and pharmaceutical supplies upon receiving written orders from physicians. In addition, this position will review and interpret prescriptions and drug profiles to ensure appropriate drug therapy has been prescribed and ensures that drug interactions.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
This position requires attention to detail; the ability to provide excellent customer service; reliability; punctuality; teamwork; and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? :
