Required Education:High School Diploma/GED
Physical Requirements:-Must be able to work from ladders or lifts up to 15 feet or higher
-Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds
-Must be able to work in tight places for extended periods of time
-Must be able to distinguish wiring colors
-Must be able to traverse campus while carrying or moving equipment in a reasonable amount of time.
-Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Monday – Friday, 8am-4:30pm Must be able to work later shifts if work requires.
Job Summary:IT Technician needed to install cabling infrastructure for voice, data and video application on UK campus. Will install cable, terminate and test.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? :No
Preferred Education/Experience:Previous installation experience with installing and terminating cable. Must be able to work alone and as part of a dynamic team.
