(Contingent upon available funding):14.00 - 15.75, Hourly Work Schedule:Typically 8 hours/day; 5 days/weekFaculty Appt Period:Job Summary:This position will be located at the Oklahoma State University - College of Medicine, Cherokee Nation (OSUCOM-CN) campus in Tahlequah, OK.
The Academic Assistant for Educational Development position will be housed within the Office of Educational Development (OED) within Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine at the Cherokee Nation (OSUCOM-CN). This position will serve as the primary administrative support for academic years 3 and 4 of the COM curriculum, and graduate medical education (GME). The support personnel will assist faculty, staff, and students with administrative curricular tasks as well as other administrative duties assigned by the Director of Educational Development. The candidate will be expected to have the ability to work on-campus as well as remotely as needed due to the current pandemic.
Typical office environment.
Ability to lift, carry push, and pull 10-20 pounds, stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodations.

- Associates/Vocational Degree or equivalent experience
- Six (6) months relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Two (2) years relevant experience preferred
Skills, Proficiencies and Knowledge:
Excellent comfort working in the PC environment, including excellent technical skills in new versions of computer software including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other presentation or multimedia software (Adobe, etc.); knows or demonstrates the ability to learn specialty software, such as ExamSoft, Leo, Canvas, or other learning management systems.
Ability to multitask and respond in a timely way to faculty with diverse responsibilities must possess ability to safeguard confidential information.
