Job Description:

This Clinical Research Coordinator II position coordinates and conducts research studies and manages all regulatory aspects of clinical trials within the Department of Neurology, Vascular Division. The spectrum of the work involves coordination of the participant visits, obtaining consents, recording data and management of IRB related requirements.

Responsible for daily operations of the research studies located in the Vascular Division. Responsible for recruiting patients, administering questionnaires, developing standardized scales for collection of clinical data, as well as giving standardized cognitive and motor tests. As a coordinator, incumbent will manage clinical data on the participating subjects.

Responsible for all administrative aspects of investigator research; interpret and explain all contractual terms, FDA and IRB regulations. Assist investigator with meeting requirements and regulatory bodies. Responsible for management of data and filing systems for ongoing protocols.

Attend research study conferences/meetings as a representative of the Department of Neurology.

Schedules research patients in EPIC (appointment confirmation and reminders).

Expected Salary:

$45,000 - $55,000 annually

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with clinical trials specifically FDA compliance, institutional review board, NIH funded trials.
