Position Summary(Basic Job Function)

This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions.

Unit Position Summary

TOC Worker for SIS Modernization Project - The SIS Modernization Project seeks individuals to assist in the creation and testing of the Student Records and Academic Advising modules of MSU’s new student information system, Campus Solutions. Primary duties will consist of the development of business process guides, testing of system functionality as well as manual entry of course enrollment requirement groups in Campus Solutions. Other duties and tasks may be assigned as needed. The worker(s) will have frequent contact with confidential student education records and will need to adhere to all FERPA regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Campus Solutions 9.2
  • Complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to work in a highly collaborative environment
  • Comfortable training and working in a remote environment
  • Learn new skills as necessary in fast-paced work environment
  • Comfortable in using Microsoft Office software
  • Comfortable learning and using multiple software packages
  • Exhibit strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Uphold FERPA and other confidential matters
  • Ability to work up to 30 hours per week
